The breezy indie-pop of multi-instrumentalist Aladean Kheroufi has been turning heads since his previous work alongside the likes of Mac Demarco and Marlena Moore. Taken from his pandemic produced EP Beauty Beyond Grief, his latest track, ‘Take A Step’, is a soulful jaunt built on the Lou Burgio classic. Slightly distorted vocals sit crisply on top of distant guitars, smooth percussion and a subtle organ, forming a mellow vibe that should persist through the rest of his upcoming project.
